A Day of Learning and Giving: Bank of America’s CSR Event with FMCH Indonesia

On Saturday, August 24, 2024, the children and parents of PAUD Sehat Ceria, Bojonggede arrived at Aviary Park, Bintaro, greeted by bright skies and warm sunshine. Excitement lit up their faces as they prepared for the CSR Day activities organized by Bank of America. The same enthusiasm was mirrored by Bank of America’s staff, who warmly welcomed the families.

The event kicked off with remarks from several key figures. Mrs. Mira Arifin, bank of America’s Indonesia country head, delivered a warm opening speech, followed by Mr. M. Rahmat Laksamana, Head of Compliance. The Program Director of FMCH Indonesia also attended, delivered a speech and a brief report on the progress of the partnership between Bank of America and FMCH Indonesia throughout 2024.

Educational Interaction with Animals and Financial Education for Parents

Accompanied by Bank of America staff, the children gained invaluable experience in understanding and appreciating the diversity of wildlife. They were encouraged to observe and interact with the animals in the educational park, offering new insights into the importance of environmental conservation and respect for all living beings.

While the children participated in interactive activities, the parents attended a financial literacy session led by the Bank of America team. The session offered valuable insights on family financial management, saving tips, and the importance of financial literacy in everyday life. It aimed to equip parents with the knowledge to make more informed decisions in managing their family’s finances.
